
What You'll Do
A plate of six different cheese samples and a glass of wine greets you at the door as you walk into the home of cheese connoisseur Anna Ward. From there, she serves additional snacks and invites you to sit down in her living room, where you and fellow houseguests can take part in a toast and introduce yourselves. Anna then discusses the science, history, and process of cheese-making before covering the basic principles of assembling a successful cheese plate for parties.
Snack, Drink, and Raise a Toast
Sample six different cheeses; snack on bread, fruits, and nuts; and sip a choice of sparkling white wine or red wine (refills encouraged)
Cheese History Lesson
Jot down notes on the history of cheese making (paper and pencils provided), before expert Anna Ward leads a guided tasting
Share Your Newfound Knowledge at Parties
Leave the lesson knowing how to assemble a successful cheese plate for parties
Each event is capped at 8 participants; each event requires a minimum of 4 participants in order to take place.

Anna Ward has spent her entire life obsessed with cheese, but it wasn't until she spent a year in Geneva, Switzerland that her obsession found its focus. While studying there during college, she often took breaks to travel the country, sample different cheeses, and learn their secrets from the locals. She went on to complete intensive programs at Murray's Cheese, and she now regularly writes in her blog The World According to Cheese.
